A Christmas Story

This afternoon the kids participated in the telling of a Christmas story. My Aunt Joan made the outfits for my kids and my cousin Amy's son, Cameron. Instead of wearing his shepherd outfit, Josh opted to stay glued in my arms. Jessi wore her angel outfit well and held my hand while walking with the the other angels. Cameron walked all by himself with the other wisemen.

Santa

Saturday morning we went to a breakfast with Santa. The kids were unsure of him. Jessi sat beside me and I held a squirmy Josh. They both liked Mrs. Claus because she gave them a candy cane. Then we made a craft and ate some pancakes. Fun but very sticky!

Next stop was the airport. Jenny invited us to see Santa at the airport. Both kids were excited to see Jenny but were still unsure about Santa.

Jessi actually sat on Santa's lap while I held Josh who was reaching out to Jenny wanting to be saved. (It's not the best picture because it's a picture of a picture.)

No trip to the airport is complete without seeing planes. The kids checked out the airplanes which Jessi affectionately calls "Jenny planes".

Here Comes Santa Claus

Jessi had her Christmas program at school this week. Her class sang Twinkle, Twinkle Christmas Lights and Here Comes Santa Claus. She did so well and I was very proud of her.

Great Pumpkin

This afternoon we went in search of the great pumpkin. Jessi loved all the pumpkins...big, small, tall, and short. Josh, on the other hand, was not too sure about the pumpkins at first, but then we couldn't get him to leave.

Happy Birthday H

Jessi had a super fun time at your party today!

Donut Friday

A well deserved treat for my big girl (and boy)!

March in October?

I forgot my camera when we picked strawberries in March and I just got a copy of these. There is nothing like picking fresh strawberries, bringing them home, and enjoying some tasteful treats.
