Joshua - Week 2

Joshua is thriving. In fact he has already gained back his birth weight plus six ounces. Our little guy is 9 lbs 10 oz and 21.5 inches long! He already holds his head up briefly, too. Amazingly, he ignores the noise made by his big sister and the dogs.


He met his Grandpa Sus and Grandma Lipa this past weekend. Joey's mom is helping me out this week and spending lots of time with her newest grandson.



Ellee has taken a big interest in Joshua and is always close by.

Zilker Kite Festival

Yesterday we went to the Zilker Kite Festival. Jessi loved running around the park with all the kites overhead. Joshua slept the entire time. It was a fun family outing!

Joshua - Week 1

Here are some more photos from Joshua's first week with us. He is a big eater and sleeper. Two days after leaving the hospital he had already put on two ounces of weight. We think he looks a lot like Jessica as a baby. I'll have to try to find similar pictures to post.

Jessica has surprised us and shown a lot of interest in her little brother. Today she even asked to hold him. She is getting better at waiting for "my turn", so she understands that she has to share mommy & daddy.

Joshua and I have enjoyed a couple days to ourselves. They have been beautiful days so we even ventured outside for walks with the dogs.

Big Sister

I am so excited! Today I become a BIG SISTER! While I am peacefully napping, my baby brother will be born.

The Greatest Gift

I will be a mother again in the next day and a half. The greatest gift has been to be the mother of Jessica and her soon-to-be born baby brother. We are very excited and patiently awaiting the arrival of our baby boy!

Bears Fan

Jessi found her old jacket. It barely fit but she squeezed into it for playtime outside. Had to snap a photo of Grandpa's little Bears fan.
