Boo

The kids wanted to paint this weekend, so I helped them make some Halloween art. The pumpkins are their fists and the ghosts are their foot. It turned out so cute that I've turned them into cards to send to grandparents.

Disney?

I think this might be Jessi asking Grandpa to take her to Disney World. She can't stop talking about Disney World after learning one of her friends went. FL may be our next family vacation!

Happy Birthday Joey

This past week we celebrated Joey's birthday. The kids helped make a poke cake which we ended up having for desert all week. There are no pictures because I didn't have the card in the camera, but you should have seen how excited the kids were to help blow out daddy's candle. Joey and I took some time off work to have some kid free time and to enjoy a birthday meal without kiddos.

Happy Birthday M

Jessi's friend M turned four in late September. Once M's birthday comes around, Jessi always thinks her birthday is tomorrow. Here are a couple pics from M's party which was a lot of fun!

Rapunzel

Jessi met up with a couple friends in September to see Rapunzel at the Scottish Rite Children's Theater. Two of the friends don't live close by anymore, so Jessi loved seeing them. After the show the girls were treated to lunch. Such fun!

Harlingen Bound - July 2011

The Fourth of July found us visiting my parents in Harlingen. My sister and my brother and his family were also there. During our visit, Josh decided he was no longer a crawler and took off walking. I think he wanted to keep up with my nephews.

Part of our visit was attending July 4th festivities in La Feria which included a BBQ cook off, kids activities, and FIREWORKS! This was the first time for the kids to see fireworks and they loved it.

A trip to my parents is not complete without a golf cart ride to the resaca to feed the ducks.

And, of course, we hit the beach. This was Josh's first time to the beach. Both kids loved jumping the waves and playing in the sand.
